- Gaywired has a article on male burlesque ("boylesque"). Specifically it mentions Lucky Devil night at Forty Deuce bar in Los Angeles, where professional dancers performing professional choreography bring something to their intended gay audiences that is a lot more than strippers gyrating around a non-load bearing pole. That something is an even higher level of prick teasing.
- Towleroad returned an archive story about two female plainclothes police officers charging a Scottish male stripper with impersonating a police officer. The performer stated, "I said I was not a police officer, I said I am a stripper. They followed me into the bar, watched the show, then asked me to go back to the station. It was all quite friendly. When I went back later they said they were going to charge me. I have spoken to two solicitors and they do not know if it will go to court." The stripper was a genetics student at Aberdeen University. Perhaps the charges stem from the female officers' disappointment that they didn't get any of his genetic material.
- PerezHilton asked readers to fill in the blank: "If Vergie Arthur were my mom, I'd ____." GiGi replied, "have a baby at 17 years old, become a stripper, marry a really old rich guy/father figure, become a playboy playmate & model, become hooked on drugs, gain and lose a lot of weight, have a tragic reality show, have some creepy friend/lawyer who would control my life & kill my son, have another baby out of wedlock and claim that another man is the baby’s daddy, OD on drugs and then die….oh, wait, Virgie Arthur’s daughter already did that…never mind!"
